The app

Hindola collects nothing. It has no account, no telemetry and no analytics. Your licence key is checked on your Mac, offline.

The one network request Hindola makes is checking for updates to itself. That request goes to our update server and includes the Hindola version and your macOS version, which the update system needs to offer the right download. It contains nothing about you, your windows or your apps. Hindola asks before it checks automatically, and you can check by hand instead from its menu.

To arrange your windows, Hindola reads each window's position, size, app and title through macOS Accessibility. It saves window titles and app names with your settings, projects and last session, so it can put the right windows back after a restart or a crash. These files stay on your Mac, in ~/Library/Application Support/Hindola/. Delete that folder to remove them.

Troubleshooting logs in ~/Library/Logs/Hindola/ record timing problems only. They record gestures and window titles only if you turn on debug logging for a support request.

The hindola:// links and the hindola command let other apps on your Mac drive Hindola. You can turn that off in Settings.
